The Coenor Diamond: A Symbol of Imperialism

The Coenor Diamond was taken from India by the British in 17th century. It has been a symbol of colonialism and imperialism ever since. The diamond is cut in an unusual way, said to look when viewed on, like a black hole. As of this recording, the coronation of King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla has not yet taken place - it is set for May 6th, 2023.
