The State of New York Could Do More Housing Development

A lot of the issues actually are to be dealt with by city government, not state government. I don't think the governor put in that much language for New York City specific other than a transitional transition of commercial to residential. If her transit oriented development requirement were to go through, that would affect a lot of New York City. And then also just the idea of setting into law a growth requirement for every community district,. That would apply very locally in New York City to a bunch of places that haven't seen a lot of housing growth over many years.
