A lot of the developers I work with and I enjoy working with that have kind of the same mindset is don't just tell me what to do, but I want to understand a little bit of why we're doing this. And sometimes those wide decisions are the architectural decisions. So if you seek out people with different opinions and people with broader perspectives or longer historical perspectives, then it becomes more of a learning process as well as you get good decision making.
