The Threefold Use of Bow Down in Genesis 37
Moses is a literary genius. The impact of the stories that Moses told, no doubt impressed itself upon a mind like Isaiah's. Even if Isaiah is not directly quoting something that Moses has stated in one of these books, everything that Isaiah says is being filtered through that impress. And I think that's one that may lie behind the reason for the word typology because this word to pass refers to the impress on, let's say, a coin by means of a stamp or something like that.
