"I didn't have a bankroll. Let's say that, you know, I met a lot of the guys do coming out of ... sexier jobs," he says. "They come out of ID or they come out consulting or something and they've got a little bit saved away" He left his corporate job to pick up some consulting assignments just to be able to pay his bills. 'It seemed to make sense for me to try and buy a bigger business' But when it came time to raise capital, there was no one who could help him.
