The failure of the federal government and numerous individuals reminded me of the central assertion of why liberalism veiled by patrick denan, that we have hollowed out the middle of society. But if you have a bunch of different communities experimenting with stuff, then presumably some community will try these drugs,. If they work as well as has been claimed, then they'll keep using them, and more communities will follow.
