The Origins of the Sun's Heat
The Sun is what's called the main sequence star and it has over the course of its lifetime of about 10 billion years. It will have different amounts of radiation that it produces, different amounts of heat that it generates. The only place where you get to really sample the heat of the Earth is in geothermal, deep geothermal wells. And when you drill down more than 50 miles, it'll be liquid, molten core.
