Aristophony says there were three different sexes of human beings, not just two male and female. There was male, female and hermaphrodite, a mixture of themale and female. And we were initially spherical, we had four arms, four legs, two heads, two faces,. We rolled around the surface of the earth like acrobats. But they got very uppity so Zeus ordered Hephaestus to cut them all in half. Now we get these pathetic sawn off creatures with two arms, two legs, one face, set of genitalia in the wrong place. They kind of mope around the world literally looking for their other half. E
