The Vortex of Democracy in Cities and States

The tragedy is that so many people who just want to live regular lives are leaving these places. And it's possible you might have seen Republican candidates, for example, do better in the mid terms in some of the blue states if more people hadn't moved to Florida. There's this vortex in these cities and states that are just going to continue to fail. It took a House Republican majority to give voice to these Democratic voters in New York City which had been ignored by their own party for decades.
