What Do Journal Policies for Reviewing Comments Be?
When a comment on an article is submitted, many as have a policy that the original authors should review it and or rit a response. The journal will even hold off on publishing the comment until the response can be published along with it. These policies seem to give the original authors a lot of power in dragging out the process. What do you think journal policies for reviewing comments should be?
