The Bowler Hat

According to Locks, it was devised by a pair of people called Thomas and William Bowler. But there is a suggestion that maybe there's nothing to do with them. The bowler hat gets its name because it's shaped like a bowl. Not because it's named after these guys bowler. So did the bowlers exist for the brothers? It feels like they were. In fact, they definitely existed. And actually there was another guy called William Bowler who existed before them,. so there were bowlers who were making hats for sure. I'm not going to walk past Locks, Locks, Sharp in case of odd job hats. You know what they have on bow
