John Rydell of Rhode Island asks why bank directors shouldn't go to jail for failing banks. John, look, I understand there's a lot of anger at banks when they fail. Their primary job as a board is to make sure that management is doing their job. We don't think it's practical to hold people that have a different full time job accountable for the actual oversight of the bank.
