Brentford's Transfer Marks Page

A player's valuation is dependent on a few things right you know and it's not necessarily transfer marks do a great job with their squad valuations. There isn't just one rule of how to value a football player yeah it depends on what someone's willing to pay and what the selling club is willing to accept. Brentford sold players that we really rated but they were still selling them so that creates a little bit when you're like oh because that's another thing fans get upset about. Burnley bidding nine million pounds for Jack Clark he's worth twenty okay? I honestly think he's a Champions League level player totally agree.

plants you go on Brentford's transfer marks page from the last sort of four seasons that they were in the championship it was amazing it's beautiful to look back at because it is as you say it's like sell one player at first they were selling players that we really rated and we felt like they weren't getting enough for them but they were still selling them so that that creates a little bit when you're like oh because that's another thing fans get upset about like how could you know why Burnley bidding nine million pounds for Jack Clark he's worth twenty okay well actually a player's valuation is dependent on a few things right you know and it's not necessarily you know transfer marks do a great job with their squad valuations but there isn't just like one rule of how to value a football player yeah it depends on what someone's willing to pay and what the selling club is willing to accept right that's basically the thing that makes the biggest difference it's not like you are a player you have ninety for pace and eighty three for dribbling and you are worth ten million pounds like that's such rubbish and if you go back and look at Brentford there was a window where they sold a few key players for what we thought was a little bit less than maybe they were they they were worth because they just need to get the wheels turning and also because they were a historically small club and they weren't a popular club to buy from and then the next summer they sold a couple of players for a little bit more and they were able to buy players for a little bit more than they had done the one before and each summer just goes up and up and up it's amazing if you hear anyone go like loot and will be strong at home and that's where they need to get their points from well it wasn't where they got their points from literally winning promotion in a manner jai I honestly think he's a Champions League level player totally agree.
