The Benefits of Resistance Training

We tend to think of weights as anaerobic, which it is while you're doing the contractions. But the recovery is aerobic. Is this the straining does improve VO2 max, to some extent? Now, certainly not nearly as much as it does through aerobic training. It's really almost every system or organ system in the body can benefit through resistance training.
