There was an all ages venue in Seattle across from the ferry terminal, the ferry that went to Bremerton from Seattle called the OK Hotel. At the time there was this ordinance in Seattle called the Teen Dance Ordinance which basically stated that if you had a club without seats that held more than 250 people, you had to have a million dollar insurance policy. It basically killed all ages music in Seattle for almost 15 years. So touring bands would make a point of playing the OK Hotel because that's the only place you could play all ages in Seattle unless you're playing like the arena or something.
