The Importance of Personalizing a Story

The original idea for the book was something that was more comprehensive in terms of the history of trans images on screen, kind of taking a purely academic or clinical approach to this history. And then it just felt kind of more relevant to personalize these narratives, especially considering like where we are in the conversation around trans visibility. It's a little bit all over the place, but I do think that it, you know, once you give of yourself to the journey that I try to take you on, I think it's an interesting one.
