Are Renewables a Safer Bet?
Julian Zelizer: There is a clear argument about renewable development today that will cascade itself in other sectors. If you can't get enough from the grid and you want to do things on an expedited basis, that's why you trend towards distributed solutions. He says society has been sort of intractable in dealing with these core questions of permitting and execution. The attractive appeal about simply having an answer nearby rose.
