How to Automate Non-Functional Tests

Non-functional testing can also be automated. Performance tests are somewhat related and somewhat similar to functional tests but they also measure the time it takes to complete various operations. In load testing we verify how our system behaves under load which is when multiple users, many users use it simultaneously. The UI layer is typically not relevant because the load happens on the server so there's no value in making this as UI tests.
