Do You Need a Head of Product?
The relationship between a head of product and a ceo is often another difficult relationship that has some built in friction, where you have to fight. One of the people whom i look to as a mentor and teacher is named ellen chisa ah. She she's thinks she's an aunte printer in residence right now a ta v c on the east coast of the us. But she's founded companies, and she's been a product manager, and she has also an engineering background. I do like having a first a first hire who can start to establish some of the record keeping and tracking that might not have existed yet.
