dbt itself is an open source project. We built the first versions of dbt cloud about three years ago in order to deploy dbt for our clients. The big idea is that it is a sort of user interface and job scheduler on top of dbt. And so we have a ton of metadata about your runs, like how long every run takes or even within a run,.
