The Importance of Disciplined Life

Bonhoeffer says we must recover the arcane disciplines that form and shape our identity in a different way than the state does. Now this is threatening to all of those Christians who proof text Romans 13 one through seven. But Christ in these arcane disciplines, and he mentions prayer and fasting and Eucharist and other things like this, that forms your identity in adifferent way.
