In 1979, a Burmese ambassador to Sri Lanka found out his wife was having a fair and killed her. He burned her body in full view of the press and the police and they were unable to do anything. And he remained ambassador. Joshua Wald, an officer at the American Embassy in Nairobi, hit a little mini bus and killed a man and injured eight people. When questioned by the cops, he left a statement and invoked diplomatic immunity. It's just so juvenile. We did it. Diplomatic immunity is done.
