A lot of times also shooting in log, shooting in cinematic modes with high dynamic range, you can get away with a lot. Images can look great if they're not lit at all. If there's no reason to the story, it could still look really, really good and people get away with it. Any sense of like pre-production, art direction, even going further back to like the building a concept that's worth shooting, those most fundamental things get skipped the most as the budget gets smaller. And I kind of understand why too, because those are also harder to hire for at a low budget.
