Ford's First Letter to the American People
Ford was the congressman of the district where J.L. and Heineck went in 1966 out after all these sightings in Michigan. Ford wrote a series of letters, three different letters as he began to agitate for hearings. The House Armed Services Committee did eventually hold brief hearings on UFOs in 1966. But unfortunately, it produced yet another US Air Force whitewash.
