The Different Types of Alcohol
In general chemistry, you see an OH group with the charge on it. That is not the same as these kind of alcohols. It's actually much more focused on organic chemistry. So don't get too confused on those two things. In alcohol, it's a functional group and it consists of a carbon chain and then an oxygen and then a hydrogen.
