She didn't want even her house or anywhere where people would think to look for it. What did she do this for? A insurance. Probably the french mistress, after all, had been in play for over decade. So elizabeth continued to celebrate with royalty, even into the new reign of her mistress's son, prince frederick, having died young. This is a new young man and his new young wife. It brought a much needed spark back to court life. And she became the patroness of salons, of music events.
