The LaTees Trial in Parkinson's Disease
The LaTees trial that you mentioned, I don't know if they pronounce it LaTees or Lett. But it's at the University of Pittsburgh. They're going to enroll 80 patients with this pre-all-simerist condition called mild cognitive impairment and randomly assign them to lithium or to a placebo. Patients are going to be in the study for two years. And they're going to look at their cognitive symptoms. There's a cognition preserve compared to the placebo arm. So it's really a great study design. In every sense, except for one thing which I'm a little worried about, is that the dose that they chose is kind of on the high side.
