The Trial of the Sheep
Job's sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house. A great wind came from the wilderness and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men. And they are dead. I can't imagine a more devastating trial than this one. Satan has been recalebrating his aim. He's getting closer and closer to the target. It's not just the oxen, it's notjust the sheep, it's also the camels. It's your own kids. Worst of all, you have no one to blame for this but god. No direction to shake your fist except heavenward.
