The Problem With Escape Velocity
We can achieve escape velocity and kind of transfer our consciousness, transfer our intelligence into things that will not be subject to this process because it seems like we can't get out of it. This might be a period in time of our civilization that we have to go through before we make it to the other side. Cultures don't just completely burn out and die; something new is born. And so it could be that this is a moment in time that kind of human, modern humans are going through, that they have to reach the other side of and then start again.
