Reuben H. Sawyer started writing for a monthly magazine called The Watchmen of Israel in the late 19s. He was so successful at this that he left his job as a pastor to lecture and write about British Israelism full-time. Reuben also had one other side gig as a member of the Oregon Ku Klux Klan.
