The Dilemma of the Mimamsa Sutra

Kamal and Prabhagara are credited with the foundations of these two sub-schools of Mimamsa. The Bhata Mimamsa is the one which has been funded by Kamal and Bhakta, and the Prabhara school is the one that has been fundedby Prabhagra Mishra. So it means that before the split, we had at least two distinct traditions of the Ransa. But from time to time, you can guess that there was a tradition, a divergent tradition even before them.
