I think there's a lot of incentive for people to say the craziest possible thing for attention. So I noticed that when people try to get my attention, they will start with crazy, crass things. They'll slowly realize that the way to get attention is to be reasonable and constructive. And so I think about how do we build larger incentives around us online to make sure the things that we want to happen are actually happening and rewarded? "We have now careened into this fucking tornado of insanity"

This week, Marques and Andrew sit down with Hasan Minhaj! They discuss everything from fantasy basketball to whether or not artificial intelligence can create art. There are a lot of upsides to new technologies, but there are also some serious negative aspects of technology that are worth discussing (hence this 2-hour long conversation). Despite all the downsides, Marques sheds some light on how he thinks about technology and continues to stay optimistic about the future. This is a good one!
