The four conspirators that were left placed the number of dead girls at somewhere around 50 ish. There was one servant girl who claimed to have seen a list of over 650 people, the modern world seems to have latched on that number. The witness was not taken seriously. And anyway, we have enough to be going on with with 200, don't you think? Ohy or even 50. You have enough to go on. But i digress. So three of the conspirators were condemned to die. I don't know how the laundress got off scot free, because she was older,. and i think they up their sentences had to do with how old they were.
