Arsenal lost their best player at Christmas and inevitably that was going to have an impact. Gabrielle Jay's injury will be an absolute critical point in the season. I think Arsenal, they know. They tried to buy quesadoe for 70 million quid or whatever it was. And Georgesinho is not the long term answer there. So yeah, I absolutely agree that Arsenal need to have a player who they feel can come in without his substantially weakening the team. It's very reminiscent of the Keering-T-any situation, in terms of his chronic unavailability at critical moments. But my surprise amateur didn't register whatsoever. What do you think?
