What Is Hard Training for Hypertrophy?

Omar: I'm not sure if many people understand what hard training really is for hypertrophy. Some people are under the impression that they need to spend hours in the gym, they need to be huffing and puffing but that's a counterproductive approach arguably. We're using the term hard to describe proximity to failure so pushing harder doesn't always mean that taking all your sets to failure will be better forhypertrophy. Yes it may be harder and there's other ways we can also make training hard but that isn't always going to translate to better results right.
