The Relationship Between Director and Director

I'm a firm believer in just going and looking. I've had many conversations slash arguments with directors who just don't want to take the time to go look, oh, can I just choose it from pictures? And, you know, Clint Eastwood does and it's just invaluable and it's hard to even articulate how valuable it is. But every time when I've insisted on a scout and we've gone out, the director will say, oh, oh, yeah. And there's something will come out of it.
