Cody: It seems important to distinguish that we're not talking about individual firing. We're talking about how do you go about doing it with wisdom for people's dignity and for the good of the company? Cody: Hiring well starts with cultural fit, which is also where it comes into this conversation as it spills into layoff. So hire them because first of all, they’re a cultural fit, find the right seat on the bus for them and then onboard them  and teach them what the culture is.
