The modern nature of the world we have today is all predicated on knowledge transfer. And until that happened, like we were in the dark ages for hundreds of thousands of years. So to answer your question, I think it's non linear. I think there are some spikes. But I wouldn't pull it off right now. Sanitation is the only thing where if you put me back in time, I could make a difference.
