The Tumbler of Our Lady

Chesterton makes reference to this medieval tale, as though we all know it. The written form comes from around the year, probably 1,200 at the earliest. It becomes popular in the 13th century, but scholars have said that it has much earlier sources. But if you haven't read it, I encourage everyone, just to Google and find a nice translation of the story.
