Moose of Broch - The Best Preserved Broch in Scotland
Moose broch in Shetland is one of the best-preserved buildings from the Iron Age. It stands 13 metres high and has an internal diameter between 10 and 15 metres. The walls around them are roughly five metres thick with cells built into them. But as you get higher up they develop into being two wall faces, which are then tied across with stone that keeps the whole thing together.
