The Case of Jason Dalton in Kalamazoo

Jason Dalton was charged with six counts of first-degree murder in February 2016. He pleaded guilty to all charges on January 7th, 2019 and was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. It's not clear why Dalton chose to kill six people but he has never given a media interview or attempted to explain his behavior. His true motives might always remain a mystery, but we live in a world where there is little time to reflect on just one madman with a gun. There's always another, and another, in an unceasing cycle of bloodshed, grief, and death.
