The Lord Appeared to Abraham and the Lord Himself Appeared to Him

Abraham is not just a dude and his wife, right? He's kind of a king. So him acting this way to these strangers is not or it is unusual. And he's clearly recognizing them as a superior. We have a picture of Abraham in covenant communion with the Lord eating a lavish meal with the Lord himself under this tree. That might be suggestive of what we found in Genesis chapter three with Eve and Adam eating the fruit in the garden.
