The Story of Brigham Young and the Kirtland Temple

In 1834, Brigham Young moves from New York to help build a new city in Kirtland, Ohio. The Mormon church wasn't just a church, but it was supposed to be the kingdom of God. In Jackson County, Missouri, Mormons were being attacked and having their property destroyed by non-Mormon settlers. Joseph Smith organized something called Zion's camp that had 200 armed men who would defend the Mormons there.
