Great cultures that deliver results are characterised by a bunch of things, but I'm going to pick out six that I think are really important. Strong individual accountability and ownership of issues is the first thing about a high-performance culture. The sense of urgency about forward progress is palpable and it drives great results based on smart decisions from leaders with seasoned judgment. And finally there's working cross boundaries. Some organisations now have a tendency to overrule each other in order to get their point of view across. But drawing on the best the team can offer actually diluting the accountability of the decision maker without becoming a consensus driven leader. What does it take to drive this type of leadership?
