I Think the IRA Is Going to Have an Impact on American Energy Prices

The Green Party was just celebrating the wind down of more nuclear plants in Germany, only about a month ago. And I think there's going to be a shift in perception toward energy policy in the West as the situation in Europe unfolds. The IRA will actually start to have effects before the price impacts start to hit home and these could be political and controversial if they are correctly understood and publicized. It is several trillion dollars over a decade, and that implies underfunding of things that the American people might prefer to see better funded roads, schools, hospitals and so on.
