I wouldn't be surprised if sometimes you look at the whole challenge, the whole mountain, and think to yourself, there's no way I can get all the way up to the top. For me, when I consider my French, I feel a bit like this every single day because I hear fluent French being spoken all around me. Just getting out of bed in the morning can seem like too much to achieve, especially on those bad days when you're feeling depressed or something. So that is kind of like my metaphor of looking at the whole language and realizing how far you have to go before you get to where you want to be.
