The Origins of the Oaklow Atomic Reactor
Uranium-235 currently makes up 0.720% of natural uranium ores, but that percentage has changed over time. 1.7 billion years ago, the level of uranium-235 was 3%. To get a chain reaction going, you need at least 3% uranium-235. The Oaklow reactor provided 100 kilowatts of power - enough to run 800 big-screen televisions or 225 computers.
