Is the Star That I'm Looking at Already Goes?

If i look up at a star, right? And that star is 360 million light years away. If i was on that star, and i had a telescope, if i was looking at art, i'd be looking at a lot of dinosaurs,. Because the light from the dinosaurs took 360 years to reach that star. So when i look up into the sky, how do i know that the star that i'm looking at isn't already gone and dead? It might well be.
