The Role of Spinal Fluid Amplification Assays in Post-Mortem Neuropathology
Some small groups point to a possible association between the amplification assay and the ultimate neuropathology that's found of post-mortem. Further studies need to be done at a larger scale to sort of explore some of this heterogeneity at the neuropathologic level as well correct yes. In the broader scheme of developing biomarkers for Parkinson's disease what do the results of this study teach us or inform us to do better going forward? We're obviously pursuing this you know as patients who were in PPMI many of them are generously consented to autopsy but like I said there's nothing inconsistent with this idea so far.
