Is There a Limit to AI Research?

I don't know how much of the most cutting AI research today is public. I would expect it to be hard to go full private for three years because like those kind of advances, we need to build on top of other public research. So I guess like there's like a limit to like how fast you can go on your own with like a hundred researchers, like 300 years later. And then also see if they do negotiate these treaties, do they then defect from them? Today? Yes.
